AMP Capital strengthens listed real assets capability with new London hires

AMP Capital has made two new London-based hires to its global listed infrastructure and global listed real estate teams as it further strengthens its global real assets investment capabilities.

Andy Jones has been appointed as Portfolio Manager/Analyst to AMP Capital’s global listed infrastructure team.  He will be responsible for covering global transportation infrastructure across Europe and Latin America within AMP Capital’s Global Listed Infrastructure Fund including toll roads, airports and ports. 

Mr Jones joins from Royal Bank of Canada where he was Director, Equity Research, and was responsible for covering Pan-European transport infrastructure companies as well as several mail and logistics operators.  Prior to that, he was with JP Morgan Cazenove as an Associate, Equity Research, covering transport and logistics companies.

Oliver Reiff has been appointed Portfolio Manager/Analyst to AMP Capital’s global listed real estate team.  He will be covering real estate across European markets includin the UK, Germany, Spain and Scandinavia.

Mr Reiff was most recently with Deutsche Bank’s Equity Research team where he was responsible for covering UK real estate companies as well as those in continental Europe.  He launched the company’s UK real estate research product, which included in-depth analysis of the commercial and residential real estate markets.

The appointments reflect AMP Capital’s growing focus on its real assets capabilities as it moves towards becoming a pre-eminent global investment manager.

Mr Jones will report to AMP Capital Head of Global Listed Infrastructure Giuseppe Corona.  Mr Reiff will report to AMP Capital Head of Global Listed Real Estate James Maydew.
