Overview
Cheniere Corpus Christi is a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal in Corpus Christi, Texas. The site was previously permitted as a regasification terminal. The project is being developed for up to five trains, and three are fully permitted. The project is positioned near some of the most prolific oil and gas producing regions in the USA. Corpus Christi LNG Terminal has entered into seven fixed-price, 20-year SPAs with extension rights with six third parties to make available an aggregate amount of LNG that equates to approximately 7.62 mtpa of LNG, which is approximately 86% of the expected capacity of Trains 1 and 2.
