The Global Companies Fund gives investors access to a portfolio of what we consider to be exceptional global companies with strong wealth creation credentials.

    The fund invests in a diverse portfolio of 25 to 30 exceptional companies that have an established ability to consistently and reliably create generate wealth over the long-term.

    The fund looks through short-term market noise to focus on delivering long-term returns greater than 10% p.a. with a lower risk of capital loss.

  • Market resilience
    Market resilience

    The fund seeks to be more resilient to market cycles through investing in a portfolio of companies with diverse sources of revenue, strong balance sheets, and identifiable competitive advantages.

Risks specific to the fund

  • International investments – including losses related to currency exchange rates and changes in the state of the Australian and world economies.
  • Share market investments – the value of the Fund’s investment in listed securities may decrease as a result of adverse share market movements.
  • Companies – factors such as management changes may affect a company’s performance.
  • Concentration – underperformance of a particular security may have a proportionately greater negative effect on the Fund’s overall performance than if the Fund held a larger number of securities.
  • Investment management – there is a risk that the investment manager will not perform to expectation or factors such as changes to the investment team or a change of investment manager may affect the Fund’s performance.
  • Securities lending – although engaging in securities lending by underlying funds in which the Fund invests may benefit the Fund by providing increased returns, there is a risk of capital loss.
