Hear from our employees…

What do you love about working at AMP Capital?

One of the things I love about AMP Capital is being a part of AMProud, which allows me to work to support the visibility and awareness of LGBTIQ+ people within the organisation. To me, the AMProud Committee is important because it promotes the fostering of a culture where employees from the LQBTQI+ communities feel respected, valued, empowered and safe to bring their authentic self to work. If I were to share a memorable moment, a stand-out would have to be working with the Committee to bring to life the AMProud Week Panel Event – Being LGBTIQ+ in Workplace. The event celebrated diversity and I was lucky enough to share my story as a panellist.

Amanda Cameron, Operations Administrations Manager, Real Estate

I enjoy working with talented colleagues across AMP Capital, in different business units and geographic locations to achieve a common goal in growing our business. I really appreciate the support of my manager and senior leaders in making AMP Capital an inclusive environment where I can fully embrace flexible work arrangements that enable me to achieve my best.

Andrew Kwok, Head of Business Cooperation China

Working at AMP Capital means I can work on projects that I am passionate about. This year we are working on AMP’s second Reconciliation Action plan, to empower and work collaboratively with Australia’s First Peoples to promote financial wellbeing and implementing reconciliation. Our aim is to develop cultural understanding, create opportunities for First Australian communities and proudly celebrate Australia’s heritage – a cause that is close to my heart as a proud First Nations woman.

Binowee Bayles, First Australians Program Manager, Real Estate

Modern life and everyday pressures mean we’re all pushed to and beyond our comfort levels. If you’re not directly impacted by mental health, you’ll know someone who is. What I love about AMP Capital is our acceptance and understanding of each other. I’ve chosen to volunteer as a Mental Health First Aider to reassure my colleagues and show them I care. Encouraging our people to open up, to seek clarity, to problem solve and to see they’re not alone or judged helps us be better humans and a stronger team.

Jo-Anne Pitt, Personal Assistant, Public Markets
