What do you love about working at AMP Capital?
One of the things I love about AMP Capital is being a part of AMProud, which allows me to work to support the visibility and awareness of LGBTIQ+ people within the organisation. To me, the AMProud Committee is important because it promotes the fostering of a culture where employees from the LQBTQI+ communities feel respected, valued, empowered and safe to bring their authentic self to work. If I were to share a memorable moment, a stand-out would have to be working with the Committee to bring to life the AMProud Week Panel Event – Being LGBTIQ+ in Workplace. The EAP is a free, confidential counselling and advice service for personal and work-related problems. It’s open to employees and their immediate family, and is run by professional, independent consultants.

Many of our offices have onsite health clubs offering quality equipment and fitness classes; and access to massages and personal training.

Recruitment steps and what you can expect….
Application Submitted - We’re interested in people from all different backgrounds and walks of life, in your application you might like to include what you think you could contribute to our culture and the thing you're most proud of from your previous role
Application Reviewed - We aim to turn this around in 2 weeks, sometimes due to the volume of applications this isn't possible but we will always try to keep you updated on the status of the role you're applying for
Interviews & Assessment - A Mix of behavioural and experience based questions, the most important thing is for us to understand what you’re looking for in a role and if you’d be a great fit for the team
Reference Checking - We typically ask for 2 to 3 references, but don't worry we will let you know when to notify them ahead of time
Verbal Offer - Someone from our recruitment team or your Hiring Manager will give you a call to make a verbal offer
Online Contract - Once you’ve verbally accepted your offer the contract will be generated (this can take 4-5 days) and you can formally accept the role. During this stage, you will receive a range of online forms that can take a while to complete but will ensure you are set up for success in your new role
Background Check - Conducted by a third party, shortly after contracts agreed. These may take some time, but you can start once they are in progress. All offers of emplyment will be subject to satisfactory completion of background checks
Welcome to AMP Capital - Your official induction will begin once your paperwork is submitted and you will then receive all the information you need to prepare for your first day
