Richard Shields
Richard Shields heads up AMP Capital’s UK and European operations and was appointed to this role in March 2008. Prior to this, Mr Shields was Executive Director responsible for overseeing business management and strategic relationships across the company’s global property securities business. Before joining AMP Capital, Mr Shields held several positions in Australian financial markets, including General Manager and Executive Manager roles.
Mr Shields holds a Bachelor of Economics (First Class Honours) and is an Associate of the Securities Institute of Australia (ASIA).
Robert Gregor
Rob Gregor, Head of Infrastructure, Europe, is responsible for managing the European infrastructure business of AMP Capital, including transaction origination and execution, portfolio management and asset management. Mr Gregor is the director of a number of SITE’s portfolio companies including CLH (Spain), Angel Trains (UK) and Angel Trains (Europe), serves as an alternate director of Wales and West Utilities (UK) and was previously a director of Thames Water and SMIF.
Mr Gregor holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from the University of Sydney in Australia, and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. Mr Gregor is also a Member of the UK Institute of Company Directors.
Brett Ward
Brett Ward has 15 years’ experience in real estate funds management and stockbroking. Mr Ward joined AMP Capital in May 1999 as an Investment Analyst. He has been responsible for all of AMP Capital’s real estate securities business since 2000. His responsibilities have included the analysis of real estate markets and company fundamentals, portfolio construction and asset allocation in a real estate securities context.
Mr Ward has a Bachelor of Economics (majoring in Finance and Accounting) from Macquarie University and postgraduate qualification from the Securities Institute of Australia.
Gerry Jennings
Gerry Jennings joined AMP Capital in October 2005. He is responsible for sourcing and managing a portfolio of private debt assets in the European market and representing AMP Capital to European financial sponsors and lead-arranging banks. Mr Jennings brings over 15 years of leveraged markets experience to the role.
